if you read up on the Senteeko Estate tea farm, you'll find that Duffield gives them jobs and housing and a convenience store right on the property. You do what the Duffster says or you not only lose your job...you lose your home as well. That kinda sounds like a slave farm to me. And of course the Duffster owns the convenience store that allows him to strip the workers of whatever stipends they happen to "earn" by "working" for him. Best of both worlds for the Duffster, since there isn't anywhere for them to go within 25 miles of the farm. And none of them own vehicles, so they are stuck with him. TOTALLY CRIMINAL. If this was an American company, they'd be the lead story tonight on the evening news. And the Duffster would be in hiding for his life.
